The Stars That Forgot The Sky

‘The Stars That Forgot The Sky’ follows a boy who is stuck in a house with his two imaginary, star headed friends. The house is both entrapping and freeing, depicting the struggles and comforts of derealisation. Though the house isolates its inhabitants, its detachment from reality also offers a safe environment for imagination and play as a way to accept their unreality.

Outside the house, it is always night. All that can be seen are the stars. Though the stars in the sky physically exist, they cannot be touched, making a relationship with them an intangible one. The stars' existences are isolated ones, but that does not concern them. Instead, they offer comfort to the boy through their consistent presence in the vast emptiness of the night.
